In August we are now at Plansee for 3 weeks. You should have practiced the setup at home before, this makes the live setup much easier. Now that we have been in constant rain for the second day, it is a relief to have this tent trailer. Everything is tight and you feel right at home. The awning is big enough for 2 people, but a third person would still go with a lot of logistical skills. Since we are already over 50 and slept on air mattresses until last year, we don’t want to give this bed away anymore. To have this kind of sleeping comfort on vacation is simply wonderful. We have installed the roof tent since April 2018 and meanwhile on 3 different cars (Nissan Pathfinder, Nissan X-Trail and now with all the trimmings on a Fiat Doblo Max. Since we are out and about with the roof tent every 14 days from Friday to Monday and from Easter to October this is a good choice because it can be opened and closed quickly. We have been proud and enthusiastic owners of a Campwerk Economy tent trailer since 2014. The decision to leave with our big companion quickly paid off in maximum flexibility. If we stop occasionally at a campsite and leave the off-road trailer there, we can enjoy other activities in the region to the fullest: hiking in a nature park, looking for a restaurant in a nearby town or off-roaders a bit off-road, on routes that we would otherwise never have found. We deliberately opted for the X-Cover because our three small children (6, 4 & 2) should sleep in the roof tent. We have had it for three months and are fully satisfied. Clearly the best decision.
